Frequently asked questions

can the parents & siblings jump in some of the photos?

Of course! I love what I do, so for me - the more photos, the better! Feel free to ask me to be in a few of the images taken in the studio. If there is a sibling or two attending, I will aim to take all sibling photos first, to ensure we can keep your newborn settled and calm during their close ups.

What should I bring?

Apart from your beautiful new bub, bring any outfits you’d like your newborn to be photographed in. Sometimes when bub becomes unsettled, it’s time for a feed. If bub is being bottle fed, ensure you bring some milk along too. You’re welcome to warm it in my home.

When is the best time to get the photos taken?

Within the first 2 weeks is best, they will be super sleepy and cute. In saying this, over the age of 2 weeks is fine too.

Do you provide wraps and props?

I have an array of neutral baby wraps that can be used during the session, my style of newborn photography is very minimalistic and I do not want to take away any attention from your beautiful newborn, which is why wraps are used to enhance the images and not distract from the main attraction.
