Before photography became my career, I worked in childcare for many years and even began studying my Bachelor in Early Education. I didn’t end up finishing, but that time gave me such valuable knowledge and shaped the way I work with little ones now.
Working with children every day taught me so much — especially patience. I know firsthand what babies and toddlers can be like. Babies cry, need extra cuddles, or want another feed in the middle of a session. Toddlers sometimes run the show, and that’s completely normal. I’ve seen it all, and I know how to make the experience calm, fun and stress-free for everyone.
I’m confident with soothing babies and reading their cues.
I bring playfulness into sessions with toddlers, so they feel involved rather than pressured.
I understand the ups and downs of young children and adjust the session around them.
At the heart of it all, my childcare background helps me create a space where your family feels cared for, not rushed. A newborn session isn’t just about the photos, it’s about the whole experience, and making sure you walk away with memories that feel as beautiful as the images themselves.
